| Aranami is an iaijutsu technique
where the attack is coming from behind. An important part of
this waza is that the turning of the body actually clears the
sword from the saya. This print was created using a
reference photo of Sekiguchi Komei Sensei during a
demonstration here on Maui. This
limited edition print is printed on acid free watercolor paper and
is individually stamped and signed by the artist.
"This was a mixed media piece
made of a base layer of watercolor on watercolor paper.
The original piece also used vellum, ink and acrylic dry
brushing."
